  • Are there local dining options?

    Yes!

    Flora's Restaurant and Cafe are both located on site. You can find all of our offerings under the 'Eats' section.


    On the West side of Bamfield, there are 2 other dining options:


    1) Bamfield Mercantile & Marine:

    From general groceries, liquor, snacks, fishing supplies, pizza and more, they do it all. Need something? They probably have it!



    2) The Bamfield Wreckage:

    The Wreckage is an ocean-front, cozy locals haven with locally sourced, seasonal offerings. They're awesome, and you should check them out.

  • Can I drive my car over to the West side?

    The West side of Bamfield is accessible only by boat. The vehicles you see on the West side were brought over by a landing craft.


    There is some public parking available in East Bamfield- though it is hard to come by during the peak summer months. 


    We have parking spaces available for rent across from the Market. Please reach out to the front desk for more info.

  • What amenities are offered at Flora's Stays?

    Flora’s Stays offers a variety of accommodations with all the essential amenities; a restaurant on site, retail offerings,  back-up supply of basic toiletries, a fully-stocked communal kitchen, outdoor seating areas, and more.

  • Where do I park on the East Side?

    Prior to your 5 minute boat ride from Bamfield East to Bamfield West, we have vehicle parking spaces available for rent across from the market. 


    There are public parking spaces across from the Hacas Inn. Due to the limitations and small quantity of public parking available, we highly recommend booking a parking spot in advance during the summer season.


     You can add a parking slip to your accommodation rental through our booking portal, listed with the room accommodations. Parking fees are calculated per night.


    *We also offer boat-trailer parking should you need it.*

  • Are the rooms pet friendly?

    Pets are welcome with prior approval. You can add a 'Pet Fee' add-on after selecting your accommodation to ensure we are made aware that you're bringing a furry friend on your adventure. A $50 pet fee (per pet, per stay) will be applied to your bill. Please refer to our Pet Policy in Terms & Conditions for more details.

  • What are the room check-in and check-out times?

    Check-in is after 3 PM, and check-out is before 10 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, and may require a fee.


    If you're arriving early- let us know. We may be able to accommodate an early bag drop-off if you wish. Please contact the front desk for more information.
